The second half of the year started as we headed to Farnham Golf Club just outside Cavan Town.  Once again there was a very good turnout as 30 golfers made the trip.  Weather conditions were pretty good, overcast but dry, and not too strong a breeze.

Winner on the day with a great score of 43 points was Arie Elberse, the high score all the more remarkable as it contained three scratches!! Breda Travers took the Ladies section, Niall Loftus won the Mens Low section and Enda McNamara took the  honours in the Mens High section.

The standard scratches were as follows –

Mens (top 5)   38.4

Ladies (top 2)   28.5
