The society’s 5th outing of 2021 seen us make our annual journey to Esker Hills GC, Co. Offaly. A total of 25 members made the trip to try once again to conquer the home course of major winner Shane Lowry. The course is always a great test of golf and scoring those precious points.was, as always, a difficult task.
Niall Loftus was the most successful in managing the challenge and ended up our Overall Outing Winner. It was Niall’s 7th outing win. The Men’s Low category winner was Ber Hogan. In the Men’s High category, Declan Loftus was best of the bunch with Vincent Mc Morrow in runner up spot. Patricia Bohan won the Ladies section with Brid Sullivan in second position. Best scoring on the 9’s were Tommy Aherne on the front and Lorcan Harrison on the back. Sean Mulvey joined us on his debut appearance with the society. Always great to see a new member joining our ranks
