Saturday 15th July 29 society members made their way to the sixth outing of the year at a blustery Ballinrobe GC, with hazy rain at times instead of the forecasted showers didn’t dampen things for Enda Mc Gloin who won on the day on a tricky enough track scoring a solid 38 points. Second overall was Jimmy Egan who also won the High Handicap category with 35 points. The Low Handicap section was won by Shane Loftus with 35 points closely followed by Jim King for second position in this section with 34 points. The Ladies winner on the day was Breda Travers with 32 points with Kathleen Loftus scoring 28 points for second spot. Front nine winner with 19 points was Danny Egan. The Back nine winner was Kevin Daly with an impressive 24 points.
