Castlebar GC, Co. Mayo enjoyed the pleasure of hosting Allen Gaels Golf Society’s 3rd outing of 2022. Although it was a lovely dry sunny day there was a cool breeze blowing with only the brave venturing out in shirt and shorts while a sizeable number of the players kept warm by hitting plenty of shots.
After a few years’ involvement and many outings attended, Kevin Cusack won his 1st society outing. Many congratulations to Kevin on putting a fine winning score together. The Men’s Low winner was our captain, Niall Loftus, beating Kyle Flynn into the runner up berth. In the Men’s High competition, Ber Hogan was the victor on his first appearance of the season. Patricia Bohan won her 2nd Ladies competition in a row with Kathleen Loftus in second spot. Declan Loftus won the front nine prize while Aidan Mc Keown was best of the bunch on the back
