Our society’s 6th outing of 2022 seen us make a welcome return, after a few years’ absence, to one of our favoured courses Ballinrobe in Co.Mayo. A total of 21 members made the journey and were rewarded with glorious weather and a fine course in top notch condition.
Declan Loftus took advantage of the favourable conditions by applying his renowned golfing skills to their max and created a winning score. In doing so he achieved an 8th outing win, getting on to the top step of the podium for the first time in many years. The Men’s Low category winner was Padraic Mc Shera beating Enda Mc Namara into second spot. In the Men’s High category, Brady Whyte ended up in the runner up spot. Patricia Bohan won the Ladies section with Breda Travers in second position. Best scoring on the 9’s were Ber Hogan on the front and Colm Griffin on the back
