Another year has kicked off, marking 30 years since the formation of our Society in 1994! Of course, a new year means a new Captain, and the honour this year falls to Patricia Bohan. Patricia has been a great supporter of AGGS for the last few years and we all are very fortunate to have such a capable person at our helm. We wish Patricia an enjoyable and successful year.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t behaving itself and conditions were very difficult with the cold and rain making good scoring a real challenge. It didn’t stop everyone though with a few excellent scores returned! Coming out on top was Niall Loftus with a super 39 points, flying home with a brilliant 1 under par on the back 9.  The outing was very generously sponsored by Jimmy & Maureen Egan.
